Collaborative MSc student visit to TUMCREATE
From March 15 to May 16, we had the pleasure of hosting Julia Woerle, an MSc student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), specializing in Human Factors and Health Science. Julia joined us at TUMCREATE to collaborate with the LightSpan team on the development of LightUP, an innovative mHealth behavior change intervention designed to improve light exposure among older adults in Singapore.
During her time with us, Julia was instrumental in creating a high-fidelity user interface prototype for LightUP. This prototype skillfully balanced organizational requirements with a user-centered design, ensuring accessibility and usability for our target demographic.
A highlight of Julia’s visit was the prototyping workshop series, in which study participants were invited to test and evaluate the app interface. Their feedback offered invaluable insights, helping us refine the features to better resonate with users and enhance the intervention’s impact.
We are deeply grateful for Julia’s contributions, her enthusiasm, and her collaborative spirit. On behalf of the entire LightSpan team, a big thank you to Julia for her fantastic work and to everyone who supported this rewarding experience.
“Big thanks to Manuel for this opportunity, and to Resshaya and the entire LightSpan team for their warm welcome and support throughout this rewarding experience!”
